Right now I’m considering playing the name and shame game on all the IP addresses I have logged that have been entering my server’s IP address as the hostname or proxy for their bittorrent client. Seriously, my services do NOT proxy ANY traffic, nor does the main server offer ANY tracker at all on the normal http/https server. If the torrent didn’t come with a tracker for any *.depthstrike.com domain, DO NOT ADD IT!
Every time someone tries, I reset the timer for EVERYONE for getting the IP blocks removed. I’m also not afraid of blocking entire /24 and /16 subnets if entire providers become problematic.
This afternoon I took the time to set up HTTPS on my server. The two blogs I have are both configured to force HTTPS. All blog logins are SSL encrypted.
In order to fully pass validation, you need to install the CACert root certificates as trusted in your browser.

I’m going to be trying to catch up on my game reviews this week. Need to get a second one done by Thursday in order to catch up.
I’m getting into the part of my backlog that I really didn’t want to do because it’s all games in my home genre.
This week I’ve gotten started on some of my torrent code again, adding MySQL support to the tracker announce list and dht node list.
I’m going to do some changes later to add support for storing the actual torrent contents in MySQL as well.
I’ve been doing game reviews for the past few weeks. Videos for them might start this week.
